• These terms are a contract between you and OdinEye Ltd. Using OdinEye or this website means you agree to them.
• Only run OdinEye on a computer you own, or that you are allowed to scan.
• OdinEye inspects running programs, including their memory, and sends scan data to our service. The Privacy policy explains that in more detail.
• Results are a guide, not a guarantee. We do not promise to find every threat.
• We may change, suspend, or stop the service. There is currently no paid plan and no service-level agreement.
• The laws of England and Wales apply. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

1. These terms

These terms of service ("terms") are a contract between you and OdinEye Ltd ("we", "us", "our") for your use of OdinEye, our scan service, and this website.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using OdinEye or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

If you use OdinEye or this website on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation, and "you" includes that organisation.

2. The service

OdinEye is a Windows application that inspects programs running on your computer for signs of malware, tampering, and related evasion techniques. Our scan service receives and analyses scan data. This website can show scan progress and results on the same computer.

The service is under active development. Features may be added, changed, or removed. We do not currently offer a service-level agreement, uptime commitment, or paid subscription.

3. Eligibility and authority

You may use OdinEye only if all of the following apply:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
• OdinEye is not directed at children. You must not use it if you are under 13, or under the age of digital consent in your country.
• You run OdinEye only on a device you own, or on a device you are authorised to scan (for example by your employer or the device owner).
• Where other people use that device, you are responsible for having any permission or notice they are entitled to.

If you do not have authority to scan a device, do not run OdinEye on it.

4. Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use OdinEye on authorised devices, solely for its intended security purpose, and to use this website in connection with that use.

We and our licensors retain all rights in OdinEye, the scan service, this website, our names and marks, and related materials. These terms do not transfer ownership of any of that to you.

You must not rent, sell, sublicense, or otherwise provide OdinEye to third parties as a service, except with our prior written agreement.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Run OdinEye on a device without authority to do so.
• Use OdinEye or scan results to attack, exploit, or unlawfully access any system, or to violate applicable law.
• Interfere with, probe, or overload the service, or circumvent technical limits we put in place.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract detection logic from OdinEye, except to the extent applicable law allows and cannot be excluded.
• Copy, adapt, or use OdinEye to build a competing detection product.
• Remove or obscure proprietary notices.

We may suspend or end your access if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or that continued use presents a security, legal, or abuse risk.

6. Results and limitations

Scan results, alerts, and related output are informational. They may include false positives and false negatives. We do not warrant that OdinEye will detect every instance of malware, tampering, or other unwanted software, or that results will be complete, current, or error-free.

OdinEye is not a substitute for other security measures, backups, or professional incident response. You remain responsible for how you, or your organisation, act on any result.

If you use OdinEye yourself (not through an employer or organisation), alerts are informational. We do not automatically isolate, disable, or otherwise alter your device based solely on an alert.

If an organisation deployed OdinEye on your device, that organisation decides how alerts are handled.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy policy on this website explains what data we process and why. It forms part of these terms.

By using OdinEye you understand that it inspects running programs, including contents of process memory. That can incidentally include sensitive information that happens to be present at the time of a scan. You authorise us to process scan data as described in the Privacy policy.

8. Intellectual property and feedback

All intellectual property in OdinEye, the scan service, this website, and our branding remains ours or our licensors'.

If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use them without restriction or obligation to you.

OdinEye may include third-party components that are licensed under their own terms. Those terms apply to the relevant components.

9. Availability, changes, and ending use

We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, including for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We are not obliged to keep particular features available.

You may stop using OdinEye at any time by uninstalling it and ceasing to use this website.

If these terms end, the licence in Section 4 ends. Sections which by their nature should survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law, continue to apply.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OdinEye, the scan service, and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. That includes implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, or that it will identify all threats.

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction that does not allow certain disclaimers, those disclaimers apply only to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms affects statutory rights that cannot be excluded.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence where the law gives you that right. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply where they cannot be displaced.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when OdinEye, the scan service, or this website changes. Material changes will be communicated by publishing the updated terms on this page. The date at the top will be revised accordingly. If you continue to use OdinEye or this website after that date, you agree to the updated terms.
